This study is an attempt to understand the residents of the shelter homes - the principal stakeholder of these shelters. It will help the organizations working for the homeless people make informed decisions and work in a more comprehensive manner. There are many aspects though that have remained untouched in this study. We hope the organizations working for those living on the fringes of our society will be able to take it forward and recommend ways to incorporate them into the mainstream.
