Innovative Strategies to Provide Housing for Battered Women

This report was produced by the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence as part of its Building Comprehensive Solutions to Domestic Violence initiative. One goal of this initiative is to build meaningful public policy agendas that acknowledge the barriers poor battered women face in achieving independence and economic self-sufficiency.

This project serves as a springboard to national, state, and local work around housing policy and the development of social and economic supports to meet battered women’s basic human needs.
